In 2011, 77,000 CASA volunteers stood up for the rights of abused and neglected children through CASA and guardian ad litem programs in 49 states, the US Virgin Islands and Washington, DC. These specially trained advocates ensured that more than 234,000 abused and neglected children had a voice in the courtroom and hope for a better life.

We coordinate national campaigns and engage celebrity spokespeople to help recruit CASA volunteers and raise awareness about child abuse. In 2011, National CASA launched the I am for the child campaign.
National CASA provides critical pass-through funding to local and state CASA/GAL programs. Grant funding comes primarily from the Department of Justice but also from private corporations and foundations.
