Life Is Transformation
Before Tomika M. Holmes was a police lieutenant, before she graduated from George Washington University, magna cum laude, before she was a wife and mother, Tomika was a little girl with a CASA volunteer.
"A lot of my childhood I don't remember. But what I do remember was this young lady who was always there for me. I have a vision of her sweet face, memories of her sitting in the hallways of the courtroom holding my hand. I did not know who she was, just that she was always there."
Today, Tomika is a CASA volunteer, serving as a consistent, caring adult in another young person's life.
