The following story was
created by the Center for Digital Storytelling for recent foster
care graduates in Berkeley, California, and the California
Training Academy. The story was created by the youth himself as
he participated in a workshop where storytelling and computer
technology were taught. What you will see and hear are his
experiences and perspectives told in his own words. Listen to Robert’s story and
think about his school experience. Who took an interest in him
and how did that impact his success? What if he had not found
