Description:
Ohio CASA is seeking candidates for a Program Services Coordinator to assist local CASA programs with planning and implementing Standards and Quality Assurance activities and providing other assistance as needed.

Classification
The Program Services Coordinator is a permanent, full-time position that reports directly to the Executive Director of the Association.

Qualifications
Applicants must have an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university and work experience in an area of social work, sociology, psychology, criminal justice, law, or other related field. Experience in standards development, quality assurance, evaluation, and enforcement is preferred. Demonstrated excellent communication skills are required.

Experience in the juvenile justice, child welfare, or child advocacy systems is preferred as is an advanced degree in a related field.

Duties
• Leads the short-term and long-range planning to implement Standards and Quality Assurance activities for local CASA/GAL programs
• Develops instruments and tools to measure and help implement national and state standards
• Develops and maintains related data and reports
• Develops and leads local trainings and technical assistance regarding standards and quality assurance
• Serves as primary communication link between local programs, state, and National CASA.
• Works with Ohio CASA training coordinator to develop and provide state trainings related to standards and quality assurance
• Plans and conducts on-site reviews
• Drafts review reports
• Works with new and developing CASA/GAL programs to ensure compliance with standards
• Assists with the preparation and hosting of the annual Ohio CASA conference
• Responds to requests from the public regarding local CASA/GAL programs
• Assists the Executive Director with reporting and other communications with the Supreme Court of Ohio in regards to the federal Court Improvement Program
• Assists the executive director and other Ohio CASA staff as needed


Compensation and Benefits
The starting pay is approximately $45,000 per year with benefits. Compensation and benefits are determined by the executive director in compliance with Association By-laws as adopted by the Ohio CASA Board of Directors however, this position is funded in part by the Supreme Court of Ohio and continued employment is based on funding from the Court as well as job performance.

Other
This is a relatively independent position. A highly motivated and structured individual will be the best candidate. Regular work hours are 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday however some flexibility is necessary. Regular travel around Ohio will be expected to fulfill the job duties adequately. A valid Ohio driver’s license is required as is dependable transportation and appropriate insurance. Mileage reimbursement is available. A background check will be conducted as part of employment.
