The coordinator is responsible for recruiting, screening, interviewing and training of new CASA volunteers. providing ongoing training., coordinate, assign and oversee volunteers’ case assignments (including but not limited to review of court reports, attendance at hearings, etc). provide supervision and evaluation of volunteers. and evaluation and continuous improvement of the Ottawa county CASA program. The coordinator will foster a positive working relationships with Ottawa County court and other community partners, maintain, analyze and report on program data for agency/county/state tracking systems, maintain case files, and actively participate in CASA related meetings and events. Preferred Candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field, previous experience with CASA and / or the child welfare system, proven ability to work with a diverse population, knowledge of the Ottawa County community, prior volunteer management experience, strong communication skills, valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
