General Description:
The Executive Director position is full-time and responsible for managing the day to day operations of the organization which adhere to the mission/vision of CASA-Children Worth Saving, Inc. This includes the direction of administration, program coordination, program development and evaluation, community education and relations, financial management, board relations, and general duties as assigned. CASA-Children Worth Saving, Inc. administers the Court Appointed Special Advocate program in the 16th Judicial District Court, Clark, Comanche, Ford, Gray, Kiowa, and Meade Counties.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree, required
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in management (non-profit or profit)
• Strong leadership, public relations and fundraising with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders at the organization, community and/or state level.
• Excellence in organizational management with the ability to coach staff, manage and develop high-performance teams, set and achieve strategic objectives, and manage a budget.
• Ability to understand and maintain confidentiality.
• Must pass local, state, and federal criminal record checks, Child Abuse & Neglect Registry checks, National Sex Offender Registry check, SSN verification, and Motor Vehicle Record check.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Attend Board meetings to serve as program/staff liaison.
• Work with President to prepare agendas and materials for Board of Directors meetings
• Work with the Board to create strategic plans for the organization.
• Facilitate implementation of strategic initiatives.
• Maintain and expand local revenue generating (by preparing grant proposals, etc.) and fundraising activities to support existing program operations and future growth.
• Deepen and refine all aspects of communication – from web presence to marketing materials with the goal of creating a stronger brand and recruiting volunteers.
• Provide public presentations to civic, social, religious, and educational groups.
• Review the National CASA and Kansas Office of Judicial Administration standards to ensure program compliance and update policies as needed.
• Establish internal program goals and oversee the development of programming to meet the goals.
• Oversee, gather and review program data and statistics for inclusion in grant reports and proposals.
• Oversee organization’s financials – accounts payable, accounts receivable, fund accounting, payroll and deposits.
• Develop and manage agency annual budget in conjunction with the Board of Directors.
• Develop and oversee strategy for recruiting and retaining volunteers.
• Hire, lead, and supervise high-performance program staff.
