Description:
I. POSITION TITLE/STATUS:
Administrative Assistant/Receptionist
Full-Time, 40/hrs/wk, Non-exempt

II. REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:
Reports to Office Manager/HR
No Direct Reports

III. SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
Responsible for answering and routing incoming calls, greeting guests, maintaining office equipment and facilities with contractors, inventory and ordering office and kitchen supplies, and performing clerical functions. Supports the Office Manager, Executive Director, Director of Programs, and Resource Development Director with administrative functions. This position involves use of diplomacy and people skills to interact with various parties such as Board, staff, volunteers, clientele, lawyers, community agencies and others. Any other duties as assigned by the Office Manager and Executive Director.

IV. QUALIFICATIONS:
A. High school graduate or equivalent required
B. Associates Degree preferred
C. 5+ years administrative assistant experience required
D. Office machine skills required
E. Computer skills required (type 55-60 wpm, proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Data Entry)
F. Experience working with volunteers preferred
G. Customer service skills required
H. Organizational skills required
I. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
J. Must have good problem-solving abilities
K. Confidentiality a must
