Position Title: Grant Project Manager Department: Development – CASA FY19-FY21 Grant Project Reports to: Executive Director Location: Rolla, MO FLSA Status: Exempt
Agency Note: The following position is contingent on grant funding which may or may not be awarded to CASA of South Central Missouri. Because of time constraints, CASA will interview prior to the funding decision but will not extend an offer until grant notification has been made. If the funding is not approved, the position will not be created. The anticipated date for grant notification is September 30, 2018. Any offer of employment will be made on or after the official notification. If grant funding is not secured, notice will be given to all applicants.
Position Summary: This position will be tasked with ensuring grant compliance, that CASA is meeting its role as leader in the community, to create effective partnerships and coalitions, and that project staff are given the necessary tools and resources to be effective. This individual will review the grant overview and determine the necessary steps and benchmarks to enable the project’s success and continued sustainability beyond the grant period.
Essential Job Duties: 1. Create timeline and benchmarks for grant project. 2. Determine process for completing a comprehensive community needs assessment in FY19. 3. Work with Community Outreach Coordinator to identify effective prospective community partnerships. 4. Compile information necessary, throughout the year, to create annual reports for the CASA program and the project. 5. Coordinate with Assistant Director to ensure all grant funded staff are compliant with grant goals and guidelines. 6. Attend community events and outreach opportunities to promote CASA and its partners. 7. Provide regular feedback to Executive Director, Board, and partners showing successes and areas for improvement regularly. 8. Create quarterly newsletter and determine most effective means for distribution. 9. Other duties and special projects, as needed. Minimum Job Requirements: Education: • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or social service-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certifications and Licensure: • Must have a valid driver''''s license, car, and valid insurance
Experience and Qualifications: • Exceptional oral and written communication skills. • Ability to communicate with and empower staff and partners. • Ability to work cooperatively with different types of personalities. • Ability to work within the region and flexibility to work nights and weekends. • Knowledge and understanding of issues and dynamics within families in crisis relating to child abuse and neglect, specifically the drug/opioid epidemic. Preferred, but not required. • Computer skills, including: Windows (7-10), Microsoft Office, Internet, and Email. • Commitment to the CASA program goals and mission.
