CASA Program Manager

Kids Matter Inc., a Milwaukee-based child advocacy organization, is accepting applications for a CASA Program Manager. The CASA Program Manager ensures that abused and neglected children involved with the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program receive sound advocacy.

Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Qualifications:
 A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a human-service related field, or a law degree
 Experience supervising, managing and coordinating volunteers and/or staff
 Knowledge and understanding of issues and dynamics within families in crisis related to child abuse and neglect
 Experience with child welfare systems strongly preferred (especially in Milwaukee County)
 Ability to train, supervise, and empower volunteers to be effective advocates
 Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Administrative Leadership and Program Management
 Lead a team of four professionals
 Develop the CASA marketing and growth strategy. coordinate with statewide planning efforts
 Maintain and report case and volunteer data
 Manage quality assurance and process improvement
Volunteer Development
 Assist with recruitment, screening, interviewing and training of volunteers, including occasional evenings and weekends
 Assist in planning, conducting and evaluating CASA continuing education events
 Maintain volunteer records
 Develop and conduct volunteer recognition activities and events
Volunteer Supervision
 Manage and supervise a caseload of up to 15 cases staffed by volunteers
 Consult with and assist volunteers regarding their assigned case(s), including advocacy strategy and planning. this requires occasional evenings and weekends
 Attend court hearings and meetings with/for volunteers as needed

Successful completion of a background check is a condition of employment. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Part-time and full-time applicants will be considered.
