Overview
The Kentucky CASA Network seeks a dynamic Director of Grants Management which will be the primary position for managing all aspects of the administration of grant funding to the Kentucky CASA Network’s Member CASA Programs. This position will lead in the process for the administration of Local CASA Program grant awards and will create both programmatic and financial processes and procedures to ensure compliance with strong financial internal controls.

Qualifications
The Director of Grants Management will have experience in both grants administration and financial accounting and controls specifically for non-profit organizations. A Bachelor’s degree is required prefebly in finance, accounting or business. Qualified applicants will have demonstrated success in grant procurement, administration and reporting with a minimum 6-8 years of professional experience. Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles(GAAP) and a background in federal and state grant reporting and procurement is highly desired.

Duties
• Prepare and analyze programmatic and financial grant data
• Attends regional, community, monthly and ad hoc meetings with various agency partners and departments for planning and program development around grants management.
• Assure compliance with funder grant requirements
• Monitoring grantee financial reporting for compliance with GAAP and internal controls
• Provide technical assistance and training to member programs on both Financial and Programmatic Grant Reporting for State and Federal Grants
• Work to help procure grant and funding opportunities for CASA Programs
• Develop and look to continually approve the KCN’s new grants processes
• Assist in the preparation of grantee reports to all funders
• Develop and collaborate on an Annual Report of the KCN on assessing the impact of the KCNs on program and child outcomes and impact.
• Develop and participate in a system of on-site grant monitoring
• Other duties as assigned

Compensation
This is a grant funded at-will position and will be located at the KCN’s Louisville office. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.

The KCN operates in a cross functional team-oriented model. A highly motivated and structured individual with high integrity, strong professional ethics and a positive can-do approach to the professional work day is a requirement to be successful in this position. A strong commitment to the mission of the work of Court Appointed Special Advocates is required. A valid Kentucky driver’s license is required as is dependable transportation and appropriate insurance. Mileage reimbursement is available. A background check is conducted as part of employment which includes a national and state criminal check and a child abuse registry check.
